Dato’ Indera Hj. Ab Karim bin Hj. Ab Rahman is a highly respected individual in the legal fraternity. As a senior lawyer in the firm, he is known for his extensive experience and expertise in the field of law. He was born on 13th November 1956 and obtained his Bachelor of Law (Hons) from the University of Malaya.
He had a distinguished career in the Judicial and Legal Service, serving for 39 years in various grades and positions in command, including as a High Court Judge at the Shah Alam High Court. He has been involved in various committees and organizations throughout his career, including as a Committee Member for Islamic Law Standardization, various agencies and statutory bodies during his tenure as State Legal Advisor, Committee Member for the Malaysia Correctional Foundation, and a Member of the Board of Syariah Advisors for As Salihin Trustee Berhad.
He is also a writer for Bench Book (Civil Procedure & Criminal Procedure And Evidence) 3rd Edition and highly active in participating and attending courses and seminars throughout his time as the officer in the Judicial and Legal Service.
For his contributions to the field of law and his service to the nation, he has been awarded with many honors and titles which includes the prestigious Darjah Kebesaran Mahkota Pahang Yang Amat Mulia – Peringkat Pertama Sri Indera Mahkota Pahang (SIMP), which carries the title Dato’ Indera.
