Dato’ Hajjah Hazizah Kassim is the Managing Partner at Hazizah & Co. Her career at the bar has been going strong since 1997. She holds LLB (Hons) degree from Universiti of Malaya, Kuala Lumpur and LLM from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia. She also holds a Diploma in Syariah Legal Practice from International Islamic University in 1999.
Dato’ Hazizah Kassim specialises in wide areas of laws as she masters both civil and syariah matters. Prior to the commencement of the firm, she joined the Judicial and Legal Service from 1999 until March 2006. During her tenure in the legal service, she held posts such as Magistrate in Kuala Lumpur Magistrate Court and Bandar Baru Bangi Magistrate Court. In 2005, she was promoted as the Senior Federal Counsel handling the privatisation project in the Advisory Division, Attorney General Chambers Putrajaya. Going back years before in the legal service, Hazizah worked in the University Tenaga Nasional, Selangor as the Legal Officer. She resigned from the legal service in March 2006 and form up Messrs Hazizah & Co, Advocates & Solicitors.
She has appeared in all the High Court divisions as well as before the Court of Appeal, Federal Court and Special Court. She is being considered as one of the most notable female lawyer in the legal arena as she herself has stood before number of judges in civil litigations and criminal cases.
Dato’ Hajjah Hazizah Kassim’s practice covers a wide breadth of areas that includes civil litigations, criminal laws, corporate and syariah matters.
Furthermore, she has also been appointed to be in the Management Board of Institusi Latihan Kehakiman & Perundangan Malaysia (ILKAP) from 2018 until present.
Dato’ Hajjah Hazizah Kassim’s knowledge in Syariah matters has been acknowledged and endorsed by her fellow members of the arena as she has successfully deal with numbers of clients be it in Divorce, Hadhanah or Testaments matters. Her ability to put a juxtapose position in lacunae of laws available in Syari’e matters by comparing it to the civil laws have made her quite popular in the arena.
She has appeared before the mainstream media many times in advising public regarding Muslim personal matters and issues. Not only is she respected in the courts, Dato’ Hazizah Kassim is reputably known for her community service in canvassing the Legal Literacy to the public in Malaysia. She has been a pioneer in giving talks and seminars to the educators available in the country to be more conscious and aware to the law embedded in Malaysia. Since 2017, she has been giving exposures to the teachers and educators regarding their rights and teachers’ liability in teaching profession especially in teacher-student relations. Furthermore, she is also a lecturer at Islamic Science University of Malaysia where she teaches Professional subjects to their current postgraduate students majoring in the said field.
In November 2015 she leads the consultant’s team for National Human Rights Action Plan, Malaysia. The project was delivered in time and launched by the Prime Minister of Malaysia in February 2018.

Shafinah was admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor in 2014. Prior to the admission before the High Court of Malaya, Shafinah had obtained two degrees in Laws (LL.B & LL.Bs) from International Islamic University which made her a great person to advise clients in both civil and Syariah matters.
A proud alumni of Sekolah Menengah Agama Rompin (SMAR), Shafinah has represented her clients in property and real estate managements which is currently her main forte in the legal arena. In addition, she has successfully advised clients in many conveyancing matters and so do the will and hibah cases.
She has also completed her Master in Laws (LL.M) from National University Malaysia where she achieved Dean’s List for all semesters of study.
Her mastery in law has made her a regular choice for the clients to deal with any conveyancing and property matters in and out of Selangor or Malaysia.
That being said, Shafinah’s practice also extends to will and testament (Syariah), real – estate including stamp duty, efficient structures for property investment, real property gains tax and many more.

Born in Banting, Selangor, Fatimah Azzahrah Rumaizi received her secondary education from SAM Unwanus Sa’adah and SAMT Tengku Ampuan Rahimah where she excelled in her Sijil Tinggi Agama Malaysia in 2010.
Later on she was enrolled into International Islamic University Malaysia where she graduated with double degrees namely Bachelor in Laws (LL.B) and Bachelor in Laws (Syariah) (LL.Bs) in 2011.
That being said, Fatimah Azzahrah had attained her admission as an Advocate and Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya in 2018.
Although still new in the arena, Fatimah Azzahrah was known to be an energetic, confident and straight to the point lawyer. She has done several cases which includes extortion, causing hurt, breach of contracts, and of course divorce matters.
Fatimah Azzahrah is also an active committee in the society where she also has been appointed to be one of the committee member for the Malaysia Scholars Association (Selangor Branch) since 2017.

A pure Tawau-born, Habibah Kassim graduated her early education from Kuhara Secondary School, Tawau. Then, she pursued her study at Mara Institute of Technology (ITM) Sabah where she attained her Diploma in Business Studies. Her education’s journey did not end there where she continued to excel by completing her Bachelor Degree in Administration (Islamic Banking) from MARA University of Technology Malaysia in 2003.
Habibah Kassim started her career in 1996 where she was absorbed to be the educator at Tawau Secondary Technic School.
Habibah’s involvement in legal career started in 2007 where she becomes the Administrative and Finance Officer of Hazizah & Co. until present. She is also a certified Commissioner for Oaths since 2017. Her solid knowledge and experience in her field has become one of the reason why Hazizah & Co. can achieve the impossibles today.
